Wow The Democrats swept the mid-term elections! And
no vote fraud?
How exciting election season is!
Okay I know you share with me the knowledge that there really
isn't a choice to choose from. But what we saw was the mindset
of Americans being exercised and they voted against the Republicans
verses voting for the Democrats. But why aren't there any
questions about this last circus for Democracy? Is it that
Demos don't cheat?
Al Martin prophesized that the Demos
would have to take over Congress so that the loss in Iraq
could be blamed on them, you can see the strategy being used
by the right-wing pie holes, like Sean Hannity, who practices
the propoganda tact of deflection by talking about Demo failures
because there is nothing good to say about Repubs.
The questionable shenanigans happened
in the Virginia race between D Jim Webb, of tail-hook fame
and incumbent R George Allen. The vote was too close for Allen
to concede to Webb. He put up a stink! Even with all the voting
irregularities, like intimidation, lies about polling place
changes, and fliers saying 'skip the election', this race
came down to just hundreds of votes. And that drove Allen
to fight, but then you saw his hands tied. He conceded on
November 9th, which gave the Dems the majority in the Senate.
We are still waiting for the crack of this code.
The End: the Pope, Opus Dei and Prophesy
Italy is a land of passionate smokers.
But this habit is not allowed in the Sistine Chapel of Vatican
City. So when white or black smoke appears from its chimney,
the world knew it was due to the burning of the ballots to
determine the successor to Pope John Paul II. The April 19,
2005 announcement was awaited with baited breathe as it is
prophesized that this will be the next to last Pope of the
church. The vision for this came from Irish Bishop Malachy,
who in 1136 set out to Rome to petition Pope Innocent II for
two palladiums for two of his Sees. While he was there he
had a strange vision of the future wherein he saw the long
list of Popes who were to rule the Catholic Church until the
end. Malachy wrote all of this down and handed his manuscript
to Innocent. It remained unnoticed until being rediscovered
in 1590. These revelations are shocking in their accuracy
and spell doom for the church and the world.
It was predicted that the 265th
pope will be the ‘Gloria Olivae’ or ‘the
glory of the olive’ the pope dedicated to peace. But
also according to both Old and New Testaments the olive branch
is an emblem for the Jews. Interesting that Pope Benedict
XVI’s first travel outside of Vatican City is to Germany
to rally youth and to Cologne to pay tribute to those who
died during the Holocaust. Before going any further, here
are a few details about Saint Benedict.
Saint Benedict of Nursia, 480-547ca.,
was named in 1964 by Pope Paul VI the principle and heavenly
patron of all of Europe and is credited with rebuilding the
traditions of monastic living based on piety and learning.
He is best known for his book Rules for Monastic Living. His
miracles of making water flow from rocks, having a disciple
walk on water, and making oil continue to flow from a flask,
reassured the church that God had not abandoned them at a
time of the barbarian invasions. It was seen as the bestowing
upon one of its own the same miracles attributed to the prophets
of old and thus a blessing. His line of monasteries went on
to specialize in the preservation of manuscripts, thus tradition.
The order lives on with Cardinal Ratzinger taking on the moniker
of Pope Benedict XVI as his cloak. If this is of divine selection,
there were others tuned into the broadcast.
As is stated in the document of
predictions according to Saint Malachy, Pope Benedict XVI
is to ‘be the Pope of Peace, who will lead his church,
all the faithful followers of the Lord Jesus Christ to their
martyrdom, at the foot of the cross that stands upon the Mount
of Olives. Whereupon the Monarch entering Israel becomes Elijah,
the gentile olive tree, and one of the two witnesses of Revelation
11. But the Glory of the Olives will tear down the walls of
the Vatican, auctioning off all the objects within, in order
to feed and enlighten those in the 3rd world who have not
yet heard the Gospel according to Christ, nor the prophet
Pope’s message that accompanies it. And he will convert
hundreds of millions, for the Hand and Spirit of the Lord
is upon him to fulfill His Will, for the sake of the Gentile
nations, for which innocent must be shed, or there is no salvation
for them.’
And the outreach and conversion
has begun, with the Pope’s trip to Germany. He also
named his successor to the office of the Prefect of the Congregation
of the Doctrine of the Faith; it is the liberal Archbishop
of San Francisco William Joseph Lavada. He seems to be drawing
under his wing the lost of secular society and keeping his
enemies close. He will battle not only what he sees as secular
sins of gay marriage, abortion and women priests, but also
an underground fight within the Vatican between those who
that support the new world order and those that don’t.
In the meantime watch as the third world will become a major
cornerstone of his mission; especially Africa. As for the
new world order he will have to do battle with a close friend
of John Paul II; Opus Dei.
Interesting that Spain has played
such an important role in the history of the church. From
Ignatius Loyola, Spanish mercenary and founder of the Jesuit
order, to Josemaria Escriva de Balaguer, who in 1928 founded
Opus Dei in Spain, which in latin mean ‘work of God’,
both of these orgs have done battle within and for the church.
Referred to as a cult by many former members, Opus Dei is
a strange meeting of ascetics and material accomplishment.
Within the U.S. their stronghold is in Texas and is populated
by upper middle class, conservative, whites for the most part.
Their headquarters is located in a $54 million dollar complex
in Manhattan and boasts of 1875 priests, 19 ordained Bishops
and 3000 members. Now this may not sound like a big deal,
but what is are the status of these few. An example of known
members are Supreme Court Justice Scalia, Supreme Court Justice
Thomas, fmr FBI Director Louis Freeh, Florida Govenor Jeb
Bush and FBI double spy Robert Hanssen.
To become a member you must be invited.
Members who are single live in gender segregated housing,
vowing celibacy and pouring that energy into mass, prayer
and the rosary.. Married couples also practice celibacy. In
a way it’s living a sanctified life without being a
priest or a nun. They champion of the individual, but former
members say they don’t actually expect you to be one.
You are to pledge fidelity and loyalty to the Pope and honor
Josemaria Escriva. They wear a ‘scolex’, which
is a leather strap with thorn-like prongs on the inside which
go into their skin. This is because their basic tenet is that
the flesh is temptation, especially female flesh, which must
be subjugated. Their meeting times are not made public. Some
of their weekend retreats feature ritualistic self-mortification,
self-flagellation and sleeping on wooden boards. Can’t
you just imagine what an Opus Dei award night might be like,
featuring the faithful showing off their biggest, deepest
welts!
Secret pilgrimages are made to Escriva’s
tomb located within Vatican City, where members prostrate
themselves face down on the ground in front of his coffin.
The problem being of course that this is idolatry. This was
also a complaint about the Pope that many seemed to forget
that he was a mere mortal, not Christ himself.
The ideology of Opus Dei is said
to be elitist and fascist. They do not profess to clothe,
feed and shelter the poor, but to assist members with perfecting
their relations to God and doing good works, but for whom?
They share an outlook which recognizes that man is not created
equally and that there are those who shall rule. They aim
to attract the most powerful who agree.
They are political, the right wing
way. Opus Dei has members who have served as leaders of paramilitary
units in South America. Archbishop Fernando Saenz Lacalle
of El Salvador had the title of Brigadier General to an army
with one of the most brutal track-records. To this day he
blocks public commemoration of Archbishop Oscar Romero, assassinated
by troops which wore the same insignia he wears today. They
have been associated with Nazi’s in Argentina, paramilitary
troops in Peru and El Salvador.
But their true calling is to have
people in positions to influence the direction of society
from behind the scenes. In the U.S. they have members in 479
universities, 604 newspapers and other periodicals, 52 radio
and tv stations, 38 news and advertising agencies and 12 movie
production companies.
They also had a hand in the election
of the new pope. Cardinals Julian Herranz of Spain and Juan
Luis Cipriani Thorn of Peru were part of the conclave. And
Cardinal Cipriani was a close friend of President Fujimori
and was his sole contact during the crisis which led to his
defeat. As you know Fujimori got away, back to Japan to escape
prosecution.
Opus Dei became a Personal Prelate
of the Church in 1982 by order of John Paul II, making them
answerable to the Pope alone, thus local Bishops have no authority
over their activities. The new Prelate is chaired Bishop Javier
Eschevarria of Spain. The most controversial move made on
their behalf was Pope John Paul II’s beatification of
Josemaria just 27 years after his death. He reached sainthood
on October 6th, of 2002. His canonization came before that
of Pope Paul XXIII.
Such moves by Vatican leadership
and the pressures of the secular world, have produced an inner
feud. But in the end it is of no consequence as their fate
has already been written.
Malachy's Prophecies - The Last
10 Popes
1. The Burning Fire. PIUS X. 1903-1914. This Pope showed a
burning passion for spiritual renewal in the Church.
2. Religion Laid Waste. BENEDICT XV. 1914-1922. During this
Pope's reign saw Communism move into Russia where religious
life was laid waste, and World War I with the death of millions
of Christians who were carnage in Flanders Field and elsewhere.
3. Unshaken Faith. PIUS XI. 1922-1939. This Pope faced tremendous
pressure from fascist and sinister powers in Germany and Italy,
but he was an outspoken critic of Communism and Fascism which
enraged Hitler.
4. An Angelic Shepherd. PIUS XII. 1939-1958. This Pope had
an affinity for the spiritual world and received visions which
have not been made public. Peter Bander says Pius XII "has
emerged as one of the great Popes of all time," and he
"was in the truest sense of the word an Angelic Pastor
to the flock..."
5. Pastor and Mariner. JOHN XXIII. 1958-1963. John was a pastor
to the world, much beloved, and the Patriarch of Venice. The
connection to "mariner" is thus remarkable.
6. Flower of Flowers. PAUL VI. 1963-1978. Paul's coat-of-arms
depicts three fleurs-de-lis, corresponding to Malachay's prophecy.
His coat of arms included three fleurs-de-lis (iris blossoms).
7. Of the Half Moon. JOHN PAUL I. 1978-1978. John Paul I was
elected Pope on August 26, 1978, when there was a half moon.
He reigned 33 days, that is, about one month, when he died,
although many think he was murdered. He was the 109th Pope
- is "De Medietate Lunae" (Of the Half Moon). The
corresponding pope was John Paul I (1978-78), who was born
in the diocese of Belluno (beautiful moon) and was baptized
Albino Luciani (white light). He became pope on August 26,
1978, when the moon appeared exactly half full. It was in
its waning phase. He died the following month, soon after
an eclipse of the moon.
8. The Labor of the Son. JOHN PAUL II. 1978-2005. Pope John
Paul II was the most traveled Pope in history. He circled
the globe numerous times, preaching to huge audiences everywhere
he went. He survived an assassination attempt. He has written
a book which has enjoyed a large circulation. Like the sun
which never ceases to labor and provides light daily, this
Pope has been incessant. He was born on May 18, 1920. On that
date in the morning there was a near total eclipse of the
sun over Europe. Prophecy - The 110th Pope is "De Labore
Solis" (Of the Solar Eclipse, or, From the Toil of the
Sun). Like the sun he came out of the East (Poland).
9. The Glory of the Olive. The Order of St. Benedict has said
this Pope will come from their order. It is interesting that
Jesus gave his apocalyptic prophecy about the end of time
from the Mount of Olives. This Pope will reign during the
beginning of the tribulation Jesus spoke of. The 111th prophesy
is "Gloria Olivae" (The Glory of the Olive). Saint
Benedict himself prophesied that before the end of the world
his Order, known also as the Olivetans, will triumphantly
lead the Catholic Church in its fight against evil.
10. PETER THE ROMAN - This final Pope will likely be Satan,
taking the form of a man named Peter who will gain a worldwide
allegiance and adoration. He will be the final antichrist
which prophecy students have long foretold. If it were possible,
even the very elect would be deceived. The 112th prophesy
states: "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church
there will reign Petrus Romanus, who will feed his flock amid
many tribulations; after which the seven-hilled city will
be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people.
The End."
Malachy's final words, "Rome, the seat of the Vatican,
will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people."

Republicans RINOs
bring a human element
RINO is the fitting acronym for the kind of skin a moderate
or liberal Republican needs to survive the blistering lashes
from their co-horts in crime; namely the conservatives and
their neo-con strategists. Now if its a shock to think that
there are liberal or moderate Republicans in a party that
has Tom Delay as its poster child, well how do you think
they feel?!! Here it is the first time in some 40 years that
the Republicans control it all, and with a mishugah messiah
to boot, and look at the limp of their march. And the reason,
thank God, is that there are actually Republicans somewhere
in that fraud of conservatism. This illegitamate war, sweltering
debt, sputtering economy, inflation, immigration, robber-baron
privatization, fear gay love amendment, their burkha abortion
platform, and hysterical Terri Schaivo grandstanding has
spun the heads of those that are 'Republicans In Name Only'
against the devout screechers.
And who are these fakers, these RINOs? Well Michigan Rep.
Joe Schwartz is one. This Catholic and former CIA operative
comes out of the chute criticizing the 3 - G diatribe of
guns, God and gays, he has the gall to question the war,
supports public education, seeks union support, wants to
balance environment with economics, wants federally funded
stem cell research and refused tax and spending cuts. He
snuck into the party in the 2004 elections beating Brad Smith,
son of retiring conservative representative Nick Smith for
the 7th congressional district. With the help of RINOs like
Schwartz the only piece of conservative legislation to move
through congress has been HJ 10, to ban flag burning. Fine,
but what about the flag-thong you'd likely see on Daytona
Beach?
Joining the melee were various other RINOs with key voting
responses as follows: Of the 51 Republican Senators 8 voted
to protect ANWR; 6 Blocked the marriage amend; 6 support
abortion rights; 2 back cooperation with ICC. In the House
with 217 Republicans; 34 voted to protect ANWR; 17 opposed
marriage amend; 9 opposed late term abortion legislation;
8 support cooperation with ICC. Some of these types have
more liberal voting records than Democrats! Like what about
the 15 house Democrats that switched sides with 29 Republicans
to pass CAFTA. In the Senate, 10 Democrats switched sides
with 12 Republicans to support CAFTA. Interesting fact that
though Democrats are the party of the workers, it is duly
noted that they have allowed every free trade bill over the
past 40 years to pass. CAFTA just needed 3 Democrats to stop
the continued decline of US living standards. But no.
Now all of this topsy turvy is a little too much for common
folk who like things black and white. So they have created
a new plumming service called the RINO Hunters Club. Based
off the arguments of right-wing strategists Grover Norquist
and Stephen Moore, Club for Growth, the loss of this opportunity
of a lifetime cannot be wasted. So they are calling on the
Hunters to use their particular methods of persuasion to
run moderates/liberals into their way of thinking or out
of the party. They look at the Clinton Administration as
proof of our deep down neo-conservative values. Liberals
loved him and conservatives hated him in an ironic twist,
as he was the most effective Republican president ever. The
explosion of the prison population, welfare reform, NAFTE,
forgiving Mark Richards over Leonard Peltier, tech secrets
to China, HMOing healthcare, media consolidation, financial
derivative hocus pocus, Ruwanda, Serbia/Kosovo, Seattle/WTO,
so many things that we would resist from a Newt Gingrich
we were pliant with Clinton, and this reactoin has signaled
to the powers that be that at the heart of it we are all
ignorant greedy self-serving jerks. So why not bring the
real thing, and the real Republicans are battling it. I think
its called the beast. But it has friends too.
There is this thing called the National Federation of Republican
Assemblies, a coalition of state-based right wing groups,
who form the core of the RINO Hunters that have the money,
from the Club for Growth, and the mandate to prevent liberal
Republicans from receiving the GOP nominations to offices
across the nation. You've seen some of their targets fall,
the biggest one being Christine Todd Whitman. Then there
was Arlen Spector who just beat out his conservative foe
in 2004 because of last minute intervention by Cheney. Their
harassment has led to the decision of 5 moderate Republicans
to not seek their offices in 2006. From New Yorker Reps.
Houghton and Jack Quinn, Pennsylvania's Jim Greenwood, Nebraska's
Doug Bereuter and California's Doug Ose--are leaving. Also
on the block is Iowa's Jim Leach and of course Joe Schwartz
of Michigan has got to go.
So the hides are gonna fly at the old country club barn
between now and the elections of 2006. Its like the body
snatching of a party. It is complicated by the fact that
the consolidation will have willing participants from across
the aisle as well.
So yes believe your eyes. There
is such a thing as the new world order and it’s in accelerated
formation. Only a consolidated front of unaltered political
warriors, and millions of them, can stem the red tide. The
potential is there and now it just needs to get pissed off
enough to get busy.
Evangelical political activists are all over the media these
days—the cover story of Time, front-page stories in
national newspapers, top national TV shows. White evangelicals’
overwhelmingly pro-Bush vote was a key in reelecting the President-and
pushing the issue of moral values to the center of public
debate.
Evangelical Hypocrisy is sooo real!
However, before evangelical political
activists develop grandiose plans to transform America—or
liberals succumb to fears of some new Dark Age—we need
to ponder some painful facts.
In spite of a strong evangelical
commitment to strengthening moral values in American society,
evangelicals are often simply not practicing what they preach.
In Scandal of the Evangelical Conscience, I cite poll after
poll that shows, as one evangelical leader noted, “that
evangelical Christians are as likely to embrace lifestyles
every bit as hedonistic, materialistic, self-centered, and
sexually immoral as the world in general.”
Evangelical political activists
talk a lot about protecting and restoring marriage (and I
agree). But numerous polls show that evangelicals and born-again
Christians (a somewhat broader category) divorce at the same
rate as--or slightly more often than--other Americans. And,
according to pollster George Barna, 90% of all born-again
folk who are divorced did so after they accepted Christ!
Evangelical political activists
promote abstinence programs to reduce out-of-wedlock pregnancy
(and I agree), but the sexual behavior of evangelical youth
is not a lot different from the rest of the society. In the
last ten years, several million of the most devout American
evangelical youth have signed the “True Love Waits”
pledge to abstain from sexual activity until marriage—but
a massive recent study found that 88% had broken their promise.
Evangelicals have enthusiastically
endorsed President Bush’s Faith-Based Initiative to
allow faith-based organizations equal access to government
funds to run social programs that empower the needy (and I
agree). But year after year for more than thirty years evangelical
giving to their churches to fund and run these faith-based
social programs has dropped—even as their annual incomes
have grown larger and larger. Only six percent of born-again
Christians give the traditional tithe of 10%. The average
for evangelicals is a mere two-fifths of a tithe.
And when it comes to racism, Lord
have mercy. In a Gallup poll survey on how people respond
to having a black neighbor, evangelicals were more racist
than everybody else.
As a card-carrying evangelical,
these stats make me weep. And also urge repentance and humility
at this moment of alleged political clout. The first thing
we must do is put our own house in order. It is a farce for
evangelical leaders to ask Washington to legislate what we
cannot persuade our own church members to live. We need to
embrace the biblical teaching: “Be doers of the word
and not hearers only.” Unless we undertake a massive
discipling effort to recover biblical lifestyles and practices,
our political activity will be both ineffective and hypocritical.
Evangelicals must also rethink the
priorities for their political engagement. There is too much
truth to the charge that we have been pro-life only from conception
to birth. The sanctity of human life also pertains to people
dying from hunger, AIDS, tobacco smoke, and capital punishment.
The tragedy is that many evangelicals
have listened more to clever political operators rather than
to the Bible we claim to embrace when defining the public
policies that shape our votes. Presumably a Christian political
agenda ought to be decisively shaped by what the Bible says
God cares about. If the hundreds of biblical verses about
the poor mean anything, God cares about the poor and oppressed
as well as the sanctity of human life. God cares about racial
justice and creation care as well as the family. If evangelical
political activists want to embrace a biblically balanced
agenda, they will have to care about a lot more than abortion
and family.
The good news is that there is some
indication that movement in that direction has begun. In mid
January, over one hundred evangelical leaders wrote to President
Bush urging him to do more to empower poor people in his second
term. Last October, the National Association of Evangelicals
(the largest evangelical network in the U.S. representing
30 million evangelicals) adopted a new document as its official
framework for its political engagement. “For the Health
of the Nation: An Evangelical Call to Civic Responsibility”
warns against uncritical patriotism, condemns one-issue politics
and insists that “faithful evangelical civic engagement
must champion a biblically balanced agenda”-defined
in this document, not only as promoting religious freedom,
strengthening the family and protecting the sanctity of human
life, but also as seeking justice for the poor, protecting
human rights, seeking peace and caring for creation.
The Bliss Institute at the University
of Akron has discovered that less than half of all evangelicals
(48%) are what might be labeled the “Religious Right.”
More than half of all evangelicals (52%) are centrists and
progressives. More than half of all evangelicals want the
government to spend more to fight poverty even if that means
more taxes on the wealthy (55%) and favor environmental regulations
even if that costs jobs (52%).
White evangelicals do represent
26% of the American population and they do have substantial
political influence today. But given our frequently one-sided
political agenda in the past and our scandalous failure to
practice what we preach, this is no time for triumphalism.
What we need is honest admission of failure, humility, a readiness
to listen carefully to those with whom we disagree, and a
new resolve to let the Bible, not the Republican (or Democratic)
Party determine our political agenda.
